This book examines the community support in community secondary schools in Tanzania.
In due regards, the book grows out of a research conducted in eight districts of one of the regions in the country, Shinyanga.
The book explores the types and extent of support and links them to teachers’ motivation, students’ aspirations and readiness to study.
It also evaluates the quality of education provided in Community Secondary Schools.
The book is useful for community development students and other development stakeholders at large.
Abdallah Jacob Seni, holds Dip.
Education, BA Ed (Hons.), MA (Ed.) and currently he is undertaking his PhD studies.
He has taught mostly at secondary and University levels.
As from 2002 to 2008, he taught at Mwasayi Secondary School and from 2008 to-date served as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Dodoma, College of Education.
