In order to take the right steps to fight human trafficking, we need to improve our knowledge of its nature, the underlying conditions,as well as the profiles of traffickers and victims.
This book deal with legal protection of trafficked women in Africa.It explain Economic,Social and Political factors such as Poverty, corruption, weak rule of law, natural disasters, conflict and lack of political will to tackle the problem, are the serious problem which affects more on women and young girls who are more vulnerable of being trafficked.
Women’s rights need to be at the core of every strategy in any area of activities and all sectors.
And whatever strategies which developed to combat the trafficking phenomenon should keep women rights front.
Women need to be equally valued in terms of their social roles so has not to remain vulnerable of being trafficked.
