The introduction of computers in Tanzanian schools has not shown realized improved achievement in terms of teaching and learning using technology.
In this book, I have tried to explain and then suggest possible approaches to the teaching and learning process using computers in Tanzania.
The theory of Multiple Intelligences provided a hint on how some of the pedagogical strategies that could be used.
Suggestions were around incorporation of learner centered instruction, while incorporating activity oriented methods, and problem solving that are designed around real world problems.
In the discussion it shows that learners can be allowed to use their knowledge effectively, reveal their uniqueness as they perform on the tasks at the same time learn computer skills in a social environment.
This was an attempt in explaining how educators can achieve quality learning by using multiple approaches as postulated by Howard Gardner.
