The rapid growth of the Informal Financial Institutions (SACCOs) and Village Community Banks (VICOBA) in the micro finance sector economy will enable to equip the appropriate knowledge and skills on how to eliminate poverty in poor people.

Mwakajumilo was born on the twenty fourth of October 1964 in Rungwe District, Mbeya Region.
And went to local primary and secondary school, after national service he pursued an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from The Institute of Finance Management(Dar), Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy (AIA), Professional Certificate in SACCOs Management (MUCCOBS), and PhD (Microfinance) from St.Clements Uinversity.
Stephen Laurent Isaac Mwakajumilo holds a PhD (Microfinance) from St.Clements University, MBA (Finance) from University of Northern Washington, Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy (IAA) and Advanced Diploma in Accountancy (IFM).
Employee of The Bank of Tanzania, Part time Lecturer to the Teophil Kisanji University.
Expert in SACCOs and VICOBA.
