Biological N-fixation is believed to contribute sufficient N to legumes and thus enhance N and grain yields if supplied with a microsymbiont that can be evaluated and selected for its high effectiveness.
Therefore, this study comprised isolation, characterization, selection and evaluation of potential indigenous rhizobial isolates for effective symbiosis with groundnut under sterilized sand and unsterilized different soils under greenhouse condition.
The author was born on 10/22/1982 in Dibatie town in Ethiopia.
Following the completion of his high school education, he joined Haramaya University on 09/2003 to pursue his tertiary education and graduated with a BSc degree in Agriculture in July,2006.He was joined the SGS of the same University to study for his MSc degree in Soil Science.
