Clinical practice experiences are critically important to determine that graduate students are expected to achieve the maximum level of clinical competence after receiving necessary and adequate theoretical and practical instructions.
However the results of previous study suggested that most new bachelor graduates have adequate theoretical knowledge but lack competence in the clinical environment.
Thus, this study is designed to assess factors affecting clinical practice competence of undergraduate health science student, Hawassa University, South, Ethiopia, 2015.

Rekiku Fikre graduated from Hawassa University with a Bachelor degree in midwifery (Bsc) in 2009 and from Addis Ababa University with Master of Science in Maternity and reproductive health nursing (Msc) in 2015.
Worked in several technical and coordination positions in health care facilities, Health colleges, and Dilla University.
