The improvement of existing technologies and development of new technology are fascinating engineers also in agricultural machinery, so improvement and innovations in machinery especially appropriate technology for the developing world are expecting by far.
In developing countries the threshers are more automated in operation with remote sensing and controlling system which helps the operators work very easy and they are more expensive.
So, Engineers has better opportunity to search and design appropriate system for small scale farming and for developing countries.

Geta born in 10/11/1963 at North Wello, Mekete; awarded diploma in Argo-mechanic at Bahirdar Polytechnic Institute, Ethiopia and Msc in Agricultural Mechanization at Nitra Univ.
of Agriculture, Slovakia Republic in 1991.
He worked as Researcher in Amhara Agri.
Research Institute.
Now, is a PhD candidate at Addis Ababa Institute of Technology.
