Approach to Evaluation provides simple scientific procedure for undertaking evaluation of physical education programme in an institution.
The text instructs on methods that may be employed to ascertain facilities availability and suitability; achievements on objectives of the programme; competences acquired by the graduates of the programme; the relevance of acquired competences in the world of work; employers’ ratings of graduates’ competences demonstrated and the short falls apparent from levels of abilities exhibited by the graduates considered as products of the programme; personnel development activities, and interests on the programme; and improvement need on the programme.
The relevance of the approach to evaluation that may be contemplated in other programmes and disciplines are obvious.
