Evaluation the Effect of Diode Laser 980 nm in Caries Prevention
Although a declining incidence of dental caries worldwide in the last decades, occlusal caries is still the most prevalent disease in childhood and adolescence.
Since the evolution of new sealing materials to reach an efficient material that can protect the tooth structure of dental caries, a great controversy has been shown on their efficiency and technique sensitivity.
The usage of Diode laser is an innovative approach to protect against pit and fissure caries and changing properties of sealant material.
