The book provides empirical insights on the concept of Enterprise Architecture (EA), from development to implementation.
The book is designed to serve Enterprise Architects, IT Managers, Business Managers, Business Analysts, Chief Information Officers (CIO), Chief Executive Officers (CEO), and others who show interest in the development, implementation and institutionalisation of enterprise architecture (EA).

Chapters 1 introduce the concept of EA as covered in the book.
The chapters, from 2 to 4 that follows focuses on the development and strategic nature of EA.
chapters 5 to 8 covers the individual (business, information application and technical architectures) domains of EA, in four chapters.
Finally, in the last two chapters, the implementation and post implementation (institutionalisation) of EA are examined.
Tiko Iyamu holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town.
Currently, he is a Professor of Information Systems at the Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa.
He also serves as a Professor Extraordinaire at the Department of Computer Science, University of the Western Cape, South Africa.
