However despite the role it plays in society, in Kenya it has continued being a major concern because of the persistent poor performance which has been below average.
Although several studies have been pointed out as making major contribution, limited studies have focused on the relationship between school environment and pupils performance in mathematics.
Judy Ngusa is an Educational Officer in Makueni County and a holder of Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Kenyatta University.
