If the policies were desirable, efforts can be made to maintain and even improve them.
This has for many years been done by soldiers in wars, farmers with their crops and soils, and mechanics with their repaired vehicles.
In essence, all these are indicators of measurement and evaluation.
Measurement and Evaluation are important processes for improvement and avoiding further errors.
Even God evaluated his creation each day and saw that it was good, proceeding the next day (Genesis 1: 1-31 and Koran 57:4).
