The Psychology of older people and medical treatment
Given the importance of medical treatment interventions to all humanity in improving the level of well-being and the minimization of death rates; this work established the demographic factors hindering older people from taking medical treatment, the relationship between anxiety and older people's medical treatment refusal, other psychological factors that hinder older people's medical treatment, the effects of older people's medical treatment refusal and strategies to encourage older people take medical treatment.
Counseling, health awareness and poverty alleviation were established as strategies to encourage older people take medical treatment.
Paul was born in Buikwe district, central Uganda.
He holds two degrees: a B.A.E.D achieved in 2004 and M.A.C.P achieved in 2012.
Paul is a Counseling Psychologist, researcher and a lecturer at Uganda Christian University.
His main research and teaching interests are in gerontological counseling, health and developmental psychology.
