This section explains and analyzes the related literature about the non-formal adult education in mitigating illegal fishing on Lake Victoria in Uganda for co-management system.
It also discusses the conceptual and Theoretical framework adopted in this study.
However, there was no exact literature on educational methodologies adopted by the Fisheries Department for orienting fishers for co-management of the fishery resource and fishers’ sensitization which this study seeks to understand; hence related literature was reviewed as discussed below:
