Biogas as clean energy alternative for rural poor at West Kordofan
The study investigated the impact of using bio gas as an alternative energy at Kamas Aldonkey and Khamas Hagar villages in West Kordofan - Sudan on kitchen healthenvironment and manure accumulation risk hazards.
The bio gas was used in cooking and lighting.
Calculation was carried out to predict the amount of methane emissions that could be reduced in one year due to switching from traditional biomass resources to bio gas to improve safety energy supply.
