The book explores the interaction between Christianity and African Traditional Religion.
It examines how Pentecostals in Zimbabwe, through a case study of Zimbabwe Assemblies of God, Africa (ZAOGA), have couched aspects of Shona traditional religion into their Christian faith in spite of their well-known adversarial stance towards the traditional religion.
The book argues that Zimbabwean Pentecostals continue source and be influenced by the traditional religions in their lives.
