In this book, we describe a tool and methodology of systematic design of synchronous motors dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs) application.
Indeed, a synchronous modular motor structure to permanent magnets and axial flux reducing the production cost that can presented under several configurations, is defined and restraint in relation to the its equivalent structure with coiled rotor.
The choice of the static converter oriented toward a structure to electromagnetic switches is in the goal to increase the reliability of the global system.
Souhir Tounsi was born in Sfax (Tunisia) in 1976.
He received his Engineering, Depth Studies , Ph.D and HDR Diplomas in electrical engineering from the National Engineering School of Sfax-University of sfax-Tunisia.
He is currently an associate professor at National School of Electronics and Telecommunications of Sfax-Sfax University.
