David Chukwuebuka Ike is a research fellow at the World Bank Africa Centre of Excellent,Center for Oil Field Chemical Research, University of Port Harcourt, where he is pursuing a PhD degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.

He has a Master degree in Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the UPH, Nigeria.
